St. Andrew Bay is home of one of the largest populations of bottlenose dolphins in the world. These are the famous gray dolphins most people know from TV, movies and marine parks. Although the dolphins of St. Andrew Bay live in wild environments, they are used to humans and boaters often find themselves amongst a group of feeding, swimming and playing dolphins.
We'll get you in to the water before the dolphins do. So the dolphins are more likely than not to swim away to us to find us. Blue Dolphin Tours has 6 passengers, including children, as opposed to larger tour boats carrying up to 150. We can quickly get you into the water wearing your snorkel gear without the disruptions and splashing that large groups cause. These often scare the dolphins away. For larger groups up to 30 people we have 5 identical boats. There is a maximum of 6 per boat. There is also a Large Family Blue Dolphin that can accommodate up to 15 guests. Pets are not allowed onboard boats.

The best time to see and swim with dolphins is in the early part of the morning when they are feeding. You might also go out later in the day before the sun sets. You can spot dolphins at any time of day, really, but less traffic makes them easier to spot.
